It has the same characteristics as the standard Liny EQ, and it enables separate Left / Right management of the spectrum: automate the +/-40dB faders for a zipper-free surgical time-varying equalization of your signal with a minimal extra latency.The built-in Blue Cat’s skinning engine enables you to skin this plug-in: adapt the user interface to your needs and customize the look of your Blue Cat’s plugin.

Liny EQ’s wide range of gain (+-40dB) and multiple filter shapes make it very flexible for a graphic EQ, letting you create unique EQ curves. The dual channels version offers independent settings for the left/right or mid/side channels, with flexible linking capabilities for an optimal workflow.

The highly customizable user interface includes a first class spectrum analyzer and spectrogram viewer. It lets you choose the best layout and display options to adapt the plug-in to your own workflow.

Thanks to its ability to update the EQ curve continuously using MIDI or automation and its additionnal “Mix” control, dynamic equalization tasks can be performed easily when used together with any of our control generation plug-ins.

Blue Cat’s Liny EQ is a linear phase equalizer with eight bands that provides the end user with low latency and offers visual feedback. It can be used to process audio signals without phase distortion and with less than three milliseconds of latency, which is a quite low value.

Since it is a plugin, it needs to be integrated into a host application. In this case, all applications that are compatible with DirectX, RTAS, AAX or VTS components can be used as host apps. Some examples are FL Studio, Traktor or Ableton.

Its interface can be customized and features a spectrogram viewer along with a spectrum analyzer utility. Users can customize display options and select the most suitable layouts according to their preferences.

Blue Cat’s Liny EQ features a wide gain spectrum that ranges from -40dB to +40dB, as well as several filter shapes, making it possible for users to generate complex equalizer curves. If the dual channels version is used, it is possible to work on each of the left/right or mid/side channels separately, as it offers individual settings. However, the channels can be linked, if needed.

It can be combined with control plugins to perform dynamic EQ tasks, given that it comes with a component that constantly updates the equalizer curve by relying on MIDI or automation.
