I made this application because I needed a simple program to take a snapshot from a web camera and most options out there were outdated, not working or commercial. There was a Windows SDK sample too, named AMCap which I could find compiled, and ended up downloading another application named AMCap with a lot of SPAM inside. Now I’ve added the timelapse capture function which let the user configure DRKap for taking a snapshot every a certain number of seconds. You can use this function for creating timelapse videos or for knowing what’s going on around your computer when you aren’t there.
