FBackup efficiently creates backups of your entire computer with just a few clicks through its streamlined and intuitive interface. Especially if you don’t want something fancy with a lot of extra features, this is a good option to consider.
Process guide: When you select New Backup from the program’s main menu, a wizard will open in a new window to guide you through the process. There are also links to relevant Help topics in every window, so you can get more information to help you make decisions about which option to select in certain situations.
Many options: As you work through the steps to create your backup, you’ll have a lot of choices to make. For instance, you can opt for a Full Backup or a Mirror Backup, and you can decide whether you’d like to encrypt your backup and protect it with a password or not. There are also options for backing up automatically on a specific day and at particular intervals that you set so you don’t always have to remember to do it manually. You can also test the backups you’ve created to ensure that they’ll work when you need them to.
No advanced features: In order to get advanced features like Incremental Encryption, AES Encryption, and the option to backup to FTP, you have to upgrade to a paid program from this developer. While this won’t be a problem for novice users, those with more experience could be bothered by the lack of advanced options.
FBackup is a smooth and streamlined free program that lets you make basic backups quickly and easily. It walks you through the process nicely, so you don’t have to have any technical know-how to take advantage of all the program has to offer. But if you’re looking for power features, you might be disappointed.

FBackup is freeware backup program for Windows. FBackup protects your important files and folders from partial or total loss by automating backup tasks, password protecting and compressing it to save storage space. Using FBackup you can easily backup to any local/network drive, to external drives (such as USB drives) or even cloud destinations such as Google Drive and Dropbox.FBackup can backup open/locked files and it can perform full and mirror backups (backup type that does not compress the files). When defining a backup you can also set file filters and schedule the backup for automatic execution. You can run predefined backups, such as My Documents, My Pictures or Outlook Express and load backup plugins that will back up the settings and data of specific applications. FBackup has ZIP64 support (can create backups over 2 GB) and creates standard zip files, meaning that you can access it with any zip compatible utility.
